Confidence is a helluva drug.

Confidence is a helluva drug.

I'd love to tell you that loving yourself is simple.. but I'd be lying. We know ourselves better than anyone else on the planet, so we know our short-comings and our 'flaws'. We judge ourselves more harshly than anyone else, too.

Why is Self-Confidence Important?

Self-confidence is crucial for personal growth and success. It allows individuals, including women, to believe in themselves, overcome challenges, and pursue their goals. Building self-confidence is a journey that requires self-awareness, self-acceptance, and a positive mindset.

Ok.. it's important.. but HOW?!

1. Embracing Self-Love

Self-love is the practice of accepting and nurturing oneself. It involves recognizing one's worth, embracing imperfections, and prioritizing self-care. For women, self-love is especially important as it helps them develop a strong sense of identity and resist societal pressures. Grab a posted note and write something empowering on it. Maybe it's "You are strong" or "You're perfect in all your flaws". Whatever comes to mind. Stick that posted note on your mirror. Each and every morning for 14 days I want you to get up and look in the mirror for 5 whole minutes. Read that posted note over and over. It may feel uncomfortable or weird at first but I want you to promise yourself to stick with it for 14 days.

2.Unleashing Your Inner Lioness

Every woman has an inner lioness, a fierce and powerful force within. To unleash your inner lioness, start by embracing your unique qualities and strengths. Recognize that you have the power to make a difference and contribute to the world in your own way. Start taking 10 minutes to yourself each day. Maybe its right before bed, or maybe first thing in the morning before the kids wake up. Use a journal, or listen to a podcast- but make the time consistently and show up for yourself. Do you get stir crazy? Go for a brisk 10 minute walk around the block to get the juices flowing.

Overcoming Self-Doubt

Self-doubt can be a major obstacle to female empowerment. It often stems from societal expectations, comparison to others, and fear of failure. To overcome self-doubt, challenge negative thoughts, surround yourself with positive influences, and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small. Your posted notes will come in handy for this too. After 14 days you can replace the message and keep building and working through your self-doubt. We ALL have insecurities- and that's ok- but don't let them hold you down from reaching your goals.

Finding Peace in Who You Are

Finding peace in who you are is a journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance. Embrace your strengths, acknowledge your weaknesses, and learn from your experiences. Remember that self-growth is a continuous process, and it's okay to make mistakes along the way. Activity: Write down some mistakes you have made, include the details of who you may have hurt or what pain it caused you. Write down people who caused you trauma, moments that damaged your soul. Write each one on it's own piece of paper. Now, once you are finished I want you to make yourself your favourite drink- maybe a coffee or tea, or even a glass of wine. I want you to sit outside and burn each paper one by one. Watch them erupt into flames and visualize yourself letting each one go one by one. Once all the papers are gone and burnt- sit in that for a few minutes and see how it feels to be light and airy.

Embracing Your Unique Voice

Each woman has a unique voice and perspective that deserves to be heard. Speak up, share your ideas, and contribute to meaningful conversations. Your voice matters, and by using it, you can inspire and empower others. Maybe you just post about your self-love journey- maybe you connect with an old friend ? Establishing yourself in the world as a confident person can feel awkward at first but stick with it. Your self care will soon be there to help motivate you to keep going.

Celebrating Female Achievements

Take the time to celebrate the achievements of women around you. Whether it's your own accomplishments or those of others, recognizing and applauding female success helps create a supportive and empowering environment. Be a cheerleader for women around you on their own journey. Uplift them. You will find it makes you feel good too.

Ready to try it? The clock starts now! Implement these strategies for 30 days and see how much better you feel at the end! Let me know!
